James MboteManaging Director
Mr. Mbote, is a seasoned engineer with vast experience in the global upstream oil and gas industry. His oilfield experience spans from 1999 working in drilling rigs operations and then moving to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) where he rose to the position of a Country QHSE Superintendent in charge of several drilling rigs. He worked with Nabors Drilling International Limited (NDIL) in Kenya, Tanzania, Libya, Oman, Yemen and Kuwait. He also worked with Woodside Energy PTY in Kenya during the drilling of the famous Pomboo 1 well in 2006. Later, James worked with Halliburton Worldwide Limited and Shell Iraq Petroleum Development (SIPD) in Iraq where he was involved in an Integrated Well Delivery Contract (IWDC) which involved drilling development oil wells in one of the world' largest oilfield (Majnoon Oilfield), While in Iraq, James was also assigned special HSE assignments for start up of Exxon Mobil Iraq Limited (EMIL) West Qurna project and ENI Zubair field project. James also runs an indigenous oilfield support services company (ROLSS Ltd) which operates in Kenya, Uganda and the larger Eastern Africa.
Fred MboteFinance and Admin Director
Fred has experience in both financial management and oilfield logistics. He is currently the Finance & Administration Director at Royal Oilfield Logistics Services and Supplies being in charge of financial management, projects start-ups, field administration, field operations & management and compliance. He has previously worked as logistics support for Nabors Rig 221 move project from Mombasa to Uganda. Fred has also been placed in charge of drilling chemicals base in Mombasa and also as logistical support in shipping drilling materials to Mozambique operations from Mombasa base by Remote Site Solutions Africa (RSSA) .
Haron NjukiFinance Manager, ROLSS Ltd
CPA Haron, is an adept accountant with vast experience in credit control, taxation, financial management, accounting, analysis and reporting. His finance, accounting & HR experience spans from 2009 while working in shipping industry and then moving to Oil & gas. CPA Njuki is a staunch member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and a Mentor of good standing. He is also a devoted member of RMT. Using this immense knowledge, Njuki leads a team of very young professionals who are committed and dedicated in pursuit of purpose and success. He has previously worked with Ocean Freight (E.A) Limited in Kenya as an accountant where he was involved with credit control, management accounts and GSA. He also worked with Royal Oilfield Logistics, services and supplies (ROLSS) ltd as the senior HR & accountant where he was assigned HR responsibilities and all the financial and accounting operations of the company.
